Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 7, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information The Well-Kept Home (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects when you visit sambilngopi.com (the “site”), how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact form. When you send us a message, we collect your name, email address, subject, and message. Messages are stored in our website’s administrative dashboard so we can read and reply to them.
  • Comments. If you leave a comment, we collect the name, email address, and website you enter, along with your IP address and browser user agent to help detect spam. An anonymized string created from your email address (a hash) may be sent to the Gravatar service to check whether you have a profile picture. Gravatar’s own privacy policy applies to that service.

Information collected automatically

  • Server logs. Like most websites, our web server records basic technical information about each visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, the referring page, and the date and time. We use these logs to keep the site secure and running smoothly.
  • Cookies and similar technologies. Cookies are small files stored on your device. The site and our advertising partners use them as described below.

How we use information

  • To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the site.
  • To read and respond to messages and comments.
  • To understand which guides are useful and what readers are looking for.
  • To show the advertising that keeps the site free to read.
  • To detect and prevent spam, fraud, and abuse, and to meet legal obligations.

Advertising and cookies

This site shows ads served by Google AdSense and may also work with other advertising partners. These companies may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to collect information about your visits to this and other websites in order to show ads, measure how they perform, and limit how often you see the same ad.

Opting out of personalized ads doesn’t remove ads from the site. You’ll still see ads, but they won’t be based on your browsing history. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although some features of the site may not work as expected.

Analytics

We may use analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to understand how visitors find and use the site, for example which pages are visited most and roughly where visitors are located. These tools use cookies or similar technologies and process data under their own privacy policies.

How information is shared

We don’t sell your personal information for money. We share information only:

  • With service providers that help us run the site, such as our web hosting provider.
  • With advertising and analytics partners, as described above.
  • When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our readers, the site, or others.

Your privacy choices and rights

U.S. state privacy rights

Depending on where you live, state privacy laws, such as the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), may give you the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or its use for targeted advertising; and not to be discriminated against for using these rights.

The information we may have collected in the past 12 months falls into these categories: identifiers (such as IP addresses, cookie IDs, and the name and email address you give us), internet activity (such as pages viewed), and approximate location derived from IP addresses. Allowing advertising partners to use cookies for personalized ads may count as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising, or as “targeted advertising,” under some state laws. To opt out, use the Google Ads Settings and industry opt-out tools linked above, adjust your browser’s privacy settings, or contact us through our contact page.

Visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland

If you’re in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, data protection laws such as the GDPR and UK GDPR give you the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; to restrict or object to its processing; to data portability; to withdraw consent at any time; and to complain to your local data protection authority. We process personal data based on your consent (for example, for personalized advertising where consent is required), our legitimate interests in operating and securing the site, and, when you contact us, the need to respond to your request.

To make a request, contact us through our contact page. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we’ll respond within the time required by applicable law.

Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as we need it. Contact messages are kept until we’ve dealt with them and no longer need them, comments stay until they’re removed, and server logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.

Security

The site uses HTTPS encryption, and we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. No website or method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, however, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy

This site is intended for adults and isn’t directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Links to other sites

Some pages, including this one, link to other websites. We aren’t responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, so we encourage you to read their privacy policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Changes take effect when they’re posted here.
