Before you write
- Corrections: tell us which article and what needs fixing. If you have a source, include it.
- Topic suggestions: describe the problem you’re trying to solve. Real questions make the best guides.
- Business inquiries: use the same form and put “Business” in the subject line.
- Personal advice: we can’t diagnose a problem in your home, review a contractor’s quote, or recommend specific companies.
For urgent problems
If you smell gas, leave the house right away and call your gas utility or 911 from outside. For flooding, a burning smell from outlets or wiring, sparking, or any other emergency, contact your utility, emergency services, or a licensed professional. Don’t wait for a reply from us.
